Greenfood publishes Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025

Greenfood today publishes its Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025, now available on the Group’s website. During the year, Greenfood delivered significantly improved profitability, stable growth and a strengthened financial position, driven primarily by continued strong performance in Picadeli and Food Solutions, the Group’s two core value-creating business areas.

Net sales for the financial year 2025 amounted to SEK 5,796.6 million (5,643.0), corresponding to growth of 2.7 percent compared with the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA increased to SEK 461.1 million (383.3), up 20.3 percent.

Picadeli continued to reinforce its position in existing markets. Growth was driven by new establishments, greater penetration in existing store networks and a broader food service offering. Net sales increased by 11.4 percent to SEK 2,112.9 million, driven by more active units and a positive trend in sales per salad bar. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 20.2 percent to SEK 262.6 million. This performance confirms the scalability of the business model, combining larger volumes with efficient operations and enhanced cost control.

Food Solutions increased sales by 6.5 percent to SEK 1,362.9 million (1,280). Earnings improved through high capacity utilization at the Greenhouse facility in Helsingborg, a stronger product mix and continued expansion in Denmark and Finland.

In 2025, net sales in Fresh Produce amounted to SEK 2,906.8 million, falling 2.7 percent compared to the previous year. The decline can mainly be explained by continued caution in the market and prioritization of business with stable and sustainable margins. At the same time, adjusted EBITDA increased to SEK 106.1 million (96.7), corresponding to a margin of 3.6 percent (3.2).

During the year, Greenfood took several important steps that demonstrate how sustainability is being put into practice across the Group. This work spans logistics, purchasing, range and innovation, with a distinct focus on quality, delivery reliability and market demand. Selected deliveries were shifted to fossil-free rail transport, reducing emissions by 98 percent compared with diesel truck transport. Greenfood also continued to reduce food waste through improved forecasting, innovation and broader recovery flows, while growing demand for Picadeli in company canteens highlighted increasing interest in healthy and sustainable meal solutions.
