Picadeli expands with more salad bars along French motorways

Demand for healthy food on the go continues to rise. Picadeli is now taking the next step in France by winning a new three-year contract with TotalEnergies, one of and Europe’s largest operators of service and fuel stations along motorways.

Picadeli established its first salad bar on French motorways in 2018 and today operates seven units in the TotalEnergies network, three of which are among the chain’s top 20 performing stores. With the new agreement, running from June 2025 to June 2028, Picadeli and TotalEnergies will significantly expand the number of salad bars across the network in the coming years.

– Service stores along motorways require food concepts that can handle large volumes of traffic while also offering tasty and affordable meals. With this agreement, we are delivering on our promise to make healthy food more accessible, this time by offering a fresh and healthy alternative for everyone on the move, says David von Laskowski, CEO of Picadeli and Greenfood Group.

TotalEnergies operates around 180 motorway stations in France, making the partnership a strategically important platform for continued expansion. The collaboration also provides a strong opportunity to increase brand awareness and introduce new consumers to the Picadeli concept.

Picadeli is part of Swedish Greenfood Group, a pioneer in healthy food in Europe. In addition to France, the concept is established in Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Monaco, and the United States. In total, more than 70 million meals are sold every year.
