Our ambition is to use our position in the market to be a positive force, show solutions here and now, but also optimize and improve within the nine focus areas identified as the outline of our efforts.
Greenfood is in the business of healthy food and green products. From infrastructure to product, our operations are steered by our sustainability targets, making sustainability our guiding principle. These targets are an ambitious part of our DNA, and they permeate every aspect of our work, not only in what we do, but just as much for anyone we do business with.
In order to work toward our goals and meet our targets, we have chosen to divide our ambitious sustainability agenda into three main pillars: food, environment, and people. These are further divided into nine focus areas: healthy food, food waste, food safety, reduced climate impact, biodiversity, packaging, water, social responsibility in the supply chain, and working conditions in our organization.
Sustainable growth is one of the main focus areas of our business strategy. Therefore, based on identified risks and materiality assessments, Greenfood has identified nine focus areas, areas where we determinately work to improve our own impact, as well as that of our partners and suppliers. Our nine sustainability targets are grouped under three main pillars: Food, Environment, and People.
