Greenfood continues its commitment to renewable energy and solar cells. Now, the group's food and logistics center in Örebro is getting a solar installation that covers 90 percent of the facility's electricity consumption. The solar cells are expected to generate about 230,000 kWh of electricity per year and are anticipated to reduce CO2e emissions by 23 tons CO2e per year.
This year, 40 new logistics facilities competed for the title of "2023 Logistics Facility of the Year." They were evaluated on criteria like innovation, environmental commitment, operational efficiency, and employee well-being.
